Welcome to the ABCA website!
The Avoca Beach Community Association (ABCA) is a voluntary, not for profit organisation. It has been in continual operation as a Progress Association and then in its current form since the 1940s.
Our Vision
A welcoming, connected community working together to care for and advance Avoca Beach.
Our Mission
Our mission is to bring the Avoca Beach community together by sharing information, encouraging participation, and supporting local initiatives that strengthen community life.
We connect Avocans and local groups by organising events, highlighting local issues, and celebrating what makes Avoca Beach special. We encourage involvement in projects and activities that improve the look and feel of our town.
On behalf of the community, we work constructively with Council and Government to advocate for outcomes that reflect local voices and benefit Avoca Beach.
We would love to have more committee members. If you can spare a few hours a month and would like to give back to your community, get in touch.

The Team
We have a committee of seven enthusiastic volunteer locals committed to maintaining and enhancing our beautiful suburb for the benefit of all residents. In addition, other members of the community often pitch in to help and offer their expertise.
