Cape Three Points Road: Footpath and Congestion

Congestion: Update Feb 2025:

Council tells us they are not prepared to address the congestion because of parked cars near roundabout. ABCA considering their response.

Footpath: Update 20 March 2026

Council has applied for grant funding to pay for the detailed design work needed to construct the footpath between Cabbage Tree Avenue and Cullens Road under the 2026/27 NSW Get Active Grant Program.  It is expecting to hear the outcome in March/April of 2026.

Update: 20 October 2025

Roadway between Cabbage Tree and Ridgway Road has been resurfaced and new markings added.

Cost of design of footpath is allocated in FY26 budget but not the cost of the work of installing the footpath, meaning this won’t happen until after FY26.
