Memorial Tree in Hunter Park

Update: July 2025

In July, ABCA asked Council to relocate the Memorial Tree from Hunter Park to a more appropriate location. We are pleased to say they responded favourably to our request, and are currently considering other locations in Avoca, ones more appropriate for quiet contemplation of lost loved ones.

ABCA is grateful to Council for listening to the community’s concerns about this tree, and we look forward to working with them to select a more suitable location.
