A Strategic Loo—k Ahead

Council has just released its Public Toilet Strategy, following a period of community consultation last year. Here’s the message they sent as they distributed the strategy document:

FROM CENTRAL COAST COUNCIL

Thanks you for contributing your feedback for Public Toilet Strategy.

Central Coast Council has now published the Public Toilet Strategy to show how we are planning to manage our public toilets across the Central Coast over the next 22 years, to make sure we have a network of contemporary, accessible and sustainable public toilets that meet the needs of our community.

The community was invited to have their say on the draft Strategy between 27 September and 8 November 2024.

Due to the complexity of this project and the large volume of community feedback received, the timeframe for this project was extended. We’ve taken the necessary time to complete due diligence and carefully assess all concerns raised during the public exhibition and thank you for your patience throughout this process.

 What’s next?

Council will continue to maintain this vital community infrastructure that support the health and wellbeing of Central Coast residents, workers and visitors. Any updated information will be made available via Your Voice Our Coast. Please check back in.

Kind regards,

Central Coast Community Engagement Team
